Etac (Nordstjernan) Acquires 70% Stake in HoverTech International

Etac, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swedish investor Nordstjernan, has acquired 70% of HoverTech International, a US leader in air-assisted patient handling systems based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The majority investment strengthens Etac's position in patient handling/medtech, creates a platform for accelerated growth and cross‑selling in the US and other export markets, and brings HoverTech access to Etac's global sales and R&D resources.

MobilityWorks Acquires ParaQuad Mobility and Absolute Mobility

MobilityWorks Acquires IMED Mobility

Autonomy Acquires EV Mobility's Technology, Assets and Customer Accounts

Autonomy, an electric vehicle subscription company based in Santa Monica, has agreed to acquire the technology, assets and customer accounts of EV Mobility, an all-electric car-sharing platform that provides EVs as an amenity to hotels and multi-family properties. The deal (cash and stock, terms undisclosed) is intended to accelerate Autonomy's entry into car-sharing, expand its product offering, and scale usage through EV Mobility's existing hospitality and property partnerships; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023.

Permobil Acquires PDG Mobility

Permobil has acquired Canada-based PDG Mobility, a designer and manufacturer of manual tilt-in-space wheelchairs, strengthening Permobil's manual wheelchair and seating portfolio. The deal, announced September 13, 2023, will expand Permobil's product offering and global reach; financial terms were not disclosed.
