Etac Acquires Ki Mobility

Etac, a subsidiary of Swedish investor Nordstjernan, has acquired 100% of Ki Mobility, a US-based developer of complex manual rehab wheelchairs and seating. The acquisition expands Etac’s product offering and establishes a dedicated North American mobility organization to support growth in the US and global export markets.

The deal (cash and stock, terms undisclosed) is intended to accelerate Autonomy's entry into car-sharing, expand its product offering, and scale usage through EV Mobility's existing hospitality and property partnerships; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023.
