Fortune Brands Home & Security (FBHS) acquired Solar Innovations, LLC on January 31, 2022, adding the Pittsburgh-area manufacturer of wide-opening exterior door systems and outdoor enclosures to its Outdoors & Security segment. The deal (up to $63 million net of tax benefits) brings Solar Innovations' ~30 patents, R&D capabilities and ~135 associates into Fortune Brands to accelerate its outdoor living product portfolio and premium door offerings.

PGT Innovations Acquires Anlin Windows & Doors

(NYSE: PGTI) completed the acquisition of Anlin Windows & Doors, a Clovis, California–based vinyl replacement window and door manufacturer, expanding PGT's presence in the West Coast market. The deal closed for approximately $113.5 million in cash plus up to $12.6 million of earnouts (roughly $126 million total consideration), with Anlin reporting roughly $106 million of trailing-twelve-month sales and mid-teens adjusted EBITDA; the deal is expected to be accretive to adjusted EPS within the first year.
