Ascent Acquires Mango Solutions

Ascent, a Horizon Capital-backed UK software strategy and development firm, has acquired Mango Solutions, one of the UK’s largest data science consulting firms. The undisclosed deal adds about 65 employees and approximately £5M in annual revenue to Ascent and is an add-on to its existing platform business.

The acquisition expands Anser's capabilities and geographic coverage across healthcare, transportation and education markets and brings Ascent's program controls and finance consulting expertise into Anser's national platform.

Horizon Capital Majority Investment in Ascent Software; Ascent Acquires TechHuddle

Horizon Capital has made a majority investment in Ascent Software and simultaneously completed the acquisition of TechHuddle in a combined £30m transaction. The deal creates a scaled technology services platform headquartered in Reading (with delivery centres in Malta and Bulgaria), giving Ascent over 100 clients and more than 300 developers to accelerate organic growth and further buy-and-build activity.
