BUKO Traffic & Safety, a Netherlands-based traffic and safety management group backed by funds advised by Equistone, has acquired a majority stake in UK-based Road Traffic Solutions Limited (RTS). The deal — sold by RTS Chairman and shareholder Ben Dexter — marks BUKO's first expansion outside the Netherlands and provides a foothold in the UK as part of a buy-and-build strategy; financial terms were not disclosed.
