Nokia Acquires Fenix Group

Nokia has acquired North American tactical communications specialist Fenix Group from Enlightenment Capital to strengthen its defense and private wireless offerings. Fenix — maker of the Banshee and Talon tactical 3GPP products — will help Nokia expand capabilities for mission-critical, low-latency military communications and accelerate its U.S. defense strategy.

Nokia Acquires Infinera

Nokia completed the acquisition of Infinera, closing the transaction on 28 February 2025. The deal values Infinera at an enterprise value of approximately US$2.3 billion (US$6.65 per share) and is intended to create a scaled optical-networks business to accelerate product roadmaps, expand webscale presence and capture EUR 200 million of net operating synergies by 2027.
