Enlightenment Capital Invests in Fenix Group

Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm Enlightenment Capital has made a growth investment in Fenix Group, a Chantilly, Virginia–based provider of battlefield edge networks and integrated systems. The capital will support Fenix's expansion of facility footprints, engineering refinement and scaling of manufacturing capacity to meet growing DoD and intelligence community demand for tactical LTE/5G communications solutions.

Nokia Acquires Elenion Technologies

Nokia announced it will acquire Elenion Technologies, a privately held U.S. silicon photonics company headquartered in New York, to integrate Elenion's silicon photonics platform and design services into Nokia's optical networking portfolio. The acquisition is intended to improve time-to-market and reduce cost per bit for 5G, cloud and enterprise networking solutions; the transaction was expected to close in Q1 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

Fenix Parts Acquires Fox Auto Parts

Fenix Parent LLC (operating as Fenix Parts) has completed the acquisition of the assets of Fox Auto Parts in Belleville, Michigan, expanding Fenix's Midwest footprint and bringing its network to 23 full-service and 5 self-service locations. Bill and Bob Fox will join Fenix's leadership team, and the deal increases Fenix's production and distribution capacity in the Detroit, Ann Arbor and Northern Ohio markets.

Nokia Acquires Infinera

Nokia completed the acquisition of Infinera, closing the transaction on 28 February 2025. The deal values Infinera at an enterprise value of approximately US$2.3 billion (US$6.65 per share) and is intended to create a scaled optical-networks business to accelerate product roadmaps, expand webscale presence and capture EUR 200 million of net operating synergies by 2027.
