Canadian private equity firm PartnerOne has acquired mobile app testing company HeadSpin in a distressed sale, paying roughly $28.2 million according to TechCrunch. The deal follows revelations that HeadSpin's founder inflated revenue and was later convicted; PartnerOne plans to invest in the business under new management.

Cornerstone Acquires Talespin's Extended Reality Capabilities and Team

Cisco announced its intent to acquire Lightspin Technologies Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based cloud security software company that provides cloud security posture management (CSPM) and graph-based attack-path analysis. The acquisition will expand Cisco's cloud-native security and observability capabilities, integrating Lightspin's team and technology into Cisco's Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ET&I) unit to help customers identify, prioritize, and remediate cloud security risks.
