The add-on expands U.S. Waterproofing's Southeast footprint and foundation-repair capabilities; ESOG founders Jay Eastland and Luis Cuevas will continue to oversee the business.

United Structural Systems Recapitalizes Ox Foundation Solutions

United Structural Systems (a Summit Park portfolio company) completed a recapitalization of Ox Foundation Solutions, a residential foundation repair and basement waterproofing services provider headquartered in Calera, Alabama. Ox founders Kevin Weber and Dannon Appleyard partnered in the transaction and will remain in leadership roles; the deal represents USS's first add-on acquisition to expand its geographic footprint in Alabama.

Vanterra Foundation Solutions Acquires '58 Foundations & Waterproofing from Sier Capital Partners

Vanterra Foundation Solutions, a new national platform backed by private equity firm Percheron Capital, has acquired '58 Foundations & Waterproofing from an affiliate of Sier Capital Partners for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings the Knoxville-based foundation repair and basement waterproofing business into Vanterra's platform as an add-on to accelerate geographic expansion and operational scale.

Groundworks Acquires AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists

Groundworks, a Virginia Beach–based national foundation services platform, acquired AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists of Huntsville, Alabama, adding seven offices, more than 300 employees and over $65 million of annual revenue. The deal is an add-on to Groundworks’ PE-backed platform (supported by Succession Capital Partners and Cortec Group) and strengthens the company’s Southeast footprint while advancing its strategy to build a national, vertically integrated foundation services brand.
