Bluejay Capital Partners Acquires Best Warehousing & Transportation

Bluejay Capital Partners has completed its acquisition of Best Warehousing & Transportation Inc., a third-party logistics provider based in Atlanta with 30 locations across 15 states. The transaction was financed with participation from Argosy Private Equity, Southfield Mezzanine, Spring Capital Partners and Key Bank; BWT's CEO Winston McDonald Jr. retains a sizable ownership stake.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Select Express & Logistics

AIT Worldwide Logistics has agreed to acquire New York–based Select Express & Logistics, a national final-mile 3PL specializing in white-glove delivery and assembly of big and bulky goods. The deal, which is an add-on to AIT (a portfolio company of The Jordan Company), expands AIT's end-to-end import-to-door capabilities and final-mile assembly capacity; LongueVue Capital exits Select as part of the transaction.

BWT Logistics Acquires RAZR Logistics from Johnson Storage & Moving

BWT Logistics, a portfolio company of Argosy Private Equity and Bluejay Capital Partners, has acquired RAZR Logistics from parent Johnson Storage & Moving. The acquisition expands BWT's dedicated logistics, on-demand warehousing capabilities and warehouse network, adding RAZR's more than 500 corporate customers; terms were not disclosed.

Wellington Group of Companies Acquires Contract Express

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Unitrans International Corporation

The acquisition adds specialized international logistics capabilities and strengthened trade-lane expertise in Asia and Europe; terms were not disclosed.

TFI International Acquires JHT Holdings

TFI International agreed to acquire JHT Holdings, an asset-light North American logistics and transportation provider that specializes in transporting Class 6-8 trucks from OEMs to dealers and end customers. JHT, based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, operates a 25-terminal network (8 owned), generates more than US$500 million in annual revenue, and is expected to close in the third quarter subject to customary adjustments.
