CMI Limited Co., a portfolio company of private equity firm Capital Partners, has acquired Engineered Plastic Systems (EPS), the maker of Lumberock, Bear Board and Perennial Park Products. The acquisition expands CMI's extrusion-based product portfolio and regional manufacturing footprint, adding HDPE decking, railing and marine-grade products to its offerings.

Charger Investment Partners Acquires Wolf-Gordon

Charger Investment Partners has partnered with Wolf-Gordon management to acquire Wolf-Gordon Inc., a New York–headquartered designer and supplier of premium interior surface products. The company was sold by Saw Mill Capital; terms were not disclosed and Charger said it will work with management to support growth and expand the business across its end markets.

Namakor Holdings Acquires CMI Mulching Inc.

Namakor Holdings has acquired CMI Mulching Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer of tracked mulching tractors and stump grinders, with an equity investment from Fonds de solidarité FTQ. The deal will provide CMI with financial and human capital to accelerate growth, expand into new markets, and strengthen its manufacturing and leadership team.

Bochi Investments Acquires Diversified Marine, Inc

Bochi Investments, a Pacific Northwest private equity firm based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, has completed a platform acquisition of Diversified Marine, Inc (DMI), a Portland-based shipbuilder and shipyard services provider founded by Kurt Redd. DMI president Frank Manning will be elevated to owner and CEO as part of a management partnership; Umpqua Bank provided debt financing and legal advisors included McGuire Woods (for Bochi) and Miller Nash (for the Redd family).

Wind Point Partners Acquires Central Moloney

Chicago-based private equity firm Wind Point Partners has acquired Central Moloney (CMI), a Pine Bluff, Arkansas manufacturer of distribution transformers and transformer components. Wind Point will partner with CMI management to invest in production capacity, modernize equipment and systems, and pursue strategic growth initiatives to serve U.S. utilities and other critical-infrastructure customers.

The add‑on strengthens BCN's Microsoft-first capabilities and gives the group an expanded footprint in the South East of England and Northern Ireland; Panoramic Growth Equity (the prior investor in CMI) exited the business.
