Dallas-based private equity firm Sky Island Capital made a majority investment in SkyMark Refuelers, LLC and related company KC Tank, LLC, partnering with the companies' founders to support growth. SkyMark, headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas with production in Findlay, Ohio, is a manufacturer of custom work trucks and vacuum tanks serving aviation refueling, liquid waste removal, rail, and other industrial end markets.

The add-on purchase expands SkyMark's manufacturing capabilities and secures a steady supply of tanks for its core end markets including aviation refueling, wastewater removal, and refined fuel delivery.

ATL Partners Acquires SkyMark and Rampmaster to Create Specialty Vehicle Equipment Platform

ATL Partners has acquired SkyMark Companies and Rampmaster and will combine the two businesses into a global specialty vehicle equipment platform focused on aviation refueling and ground support equipment. A&M Capital Strategic Investments completed a minority investment alongside ATL; both management teams will retain leadership roles and meaningful equity stakes in the combined company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Sky Quarry Inc. Acquires Foreland Refining Corporation (Eagle Springs Refinery)

Sky Quarry Inc. has acquired Foreland Refining Corporation, including the Eagle Springs refinery near Ely, Nevada. The purchase gives Sky Quarry a refinery asset to vertically integrate its process for producing sustainable diesel and other petroleum products from waste asphalt shingles and heavy oil feedstocks, and is expected to be immediately accretive to cash flow and EBITDA.
