TRX, the global functional training equipment and education company, has acquired Australian fitness equipment maker YBell to expand its patented, multi-purpose product offerings and integrate YBell content into TRX’s education and digital platforms. The acquisition brings YBell’s founder Aaron “Az” Laurence into the TRX family and is intended to enhance TRX’s product ecosystem for consumers, trainers and commercial partners.

Xponential Fitness Acquires Body Fit Training for $44M

Xponential Fitness, Inc. acquired Australia-based fitness franchisor Body Fit Training (BFT) for $44 million in a mix of cash and debt. Xponential acquired BFT's intellectual property, will support nearly 130 open franchised studios (and ~150 obligated to open) across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore while expanding the brand into the United States and Canada; BFT's co-CEOs will remain as master franchisors in APAC.

DRB Acquires Beacon Mobile LLC

The deal adds Beacon Mobile's cloud-based membership and mobile-app capabilities to DRB's product suite to broaden membership management, cross-sell across DRB brands, and extend membership functionality to DRB In‑Bay Solutions customers.

Easy Mile Fitness Acquires 17 Planet Fitness Clubs From Bravo Fit Franchise Group

Easy Mile Fitness, a privately held Planet Fitness franchisee based in Boston, acquired 15 Planet Fitness locations in Oregon and two in Alaska (17 clubs total) from Bravo Fit Franchise Group. The deal expands Easy Mile's footprint in the Pacific Northwest—making it the largest Planet Fitness operator in Oregon—and was financed by Fifth Third Bank with advisors supporting both sides.

ElevateOS Acquires RightFit Personal Training
