Johnson Controls Acquires Security Enhancement Systems (SES)

Johnson Controls has acquired Security Enhancement Systems LLC (SES), a provider of mobile-based, keyless access control solutions for critical infrastructure such as telecommunications towers, utilities and data centers. The acquisition expands Johnson Controls' access control and remote-site security capabilities by integrating SES's mobile, cloud and on-premise technologies into its security products portfolio.

ONDEX Automation, a Shore Capital-backed factory automation platform, has acquired Vision and Control Systems (VCS), a machine vision and systems integrator with locations in Springfield, New Jersey and Greenville, South Carolina. The deal — ONDEX's fourth acquisition since April 2024 — expands ONDEX's machine vision, barcode reading, robotics, motion control, and PLC programming capabilities across medical devices, life sciences, food & beverage, logistics, and general industrial markets.
