Pearlman Group Acquires Advantage Experts in Clean

Pearlman Group, a portfolio company of The Stephens Group, acquired Advantage Marketing, Inc. (dba Advantage Experts in Clean), a Midwest distributor of professional cleaning and restoration chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The Bonwell family will continue to lead Advantage in partnership with Pearlman; terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Pearlman's specialty distribution footprint and service/education capabilities in the Midwest.

The transaction is an add-on to Pearlman’s distribution platform to expand into the restoration and professional cleaning end markets; the selling owners Matt and Julia Nelson will remain with management post-close.

JLL Partners Acquires PowerParts Group

JLL Partners has acquired PowerParts Group, a precision manufacturer and field-services provider of aftermarket components for gas- and steam-turbine power plants, from Mangrove Equity Partners. JLL intends to use PowerParts Group as the foundation of a new engineering-focused power-generation components platform and plans to expand capacity and capabilities through organic investment and strategic acquisitions.

The deal expands CES Power’s operating coverage in the U.S. Southeast (including the Miami market) and represents an add-on acquisition to accelerate platform growth; terms were not disclosed.
