Stockholm-based Safe Life completed two add-on acquisitions, acquiring U.S. training and AED distributor GoRescue Brands, Inc. and U.K. e‑commerce retailer First Rescue Training & Supplies Limited. These are Safe Life's 23rd and 24th add-ons since 2019 and expand the group's AED market share, program-management capabilities and e‑commerce presence across North America and the U.K.

Johnson Controls Acquires Rescue Air Systems

Johnson Controls has acquired Rescue Air Systems, a San Francisco–based provider of firefighter air replenishment systems (FARS). The purchase expands Johnson Controls' fire protection and life-safety portfolio by adding building-installed air refill stations that allow firefighters to rapidly replenish breathing air bottles during responses; financial terms were not disclosed.

Blackford Capital acquired Security Fire Systems (SFS) on December 12, 2024, launching its Fire Safety Consolidation Platform; terms were not disclosed. SFS, founded in 1993 and based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area (Coppell, Texas), provides fire sprinkler design, installation, testing, maintenance and fire alarm services across Texas, Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma; SFS management will remain in place as Blackford pursues further add-on consolidation opportunities.

MES Life Safety Acquires Northeast Rescue Systems
