Johnson Controls Acquires Rescue Air Systems

Johnson Controls has acquired Rescue Air Systems, a San Francisco–based provider of firefighter air replenishment systems (FARS). The purchase expands Johnson Controls' fire protection and life-safety portfolio by adding building-installed air refill stations that allow firefighters to rapidly replenish breathing air bottles during responses; financial terms were not disclosed.
