Trexon (Audax Portfolio Company) Acquires 603 Manufacturing

Trexon, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has completed the acquisition of 603 Manufacturing, a value‑added manufacturer of high‑performance wire and cable assemblies including RF/microwave coaxial assemblies and electro‑mechanical box builds. The deal is an add‑on to Trexon’s Engineered Products Group intended to expand Trexon’s RF, ruggedized and space/aerospace capabilities and broaden its end‑market exposure in aerospace, space and telecommunications.

Amphenol Corporation Acquires Trexon from Audax Private Equity

Amphenol Corporation has completed its acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for approximately $1 billion in cash. Trexon, a Boston-headquartered maker of high-reliability cable and interconnect assemblies for defense and harsh environments, will be included in Amphenol's Harsh Environment Solutions segment and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

(EPMP), a precision sheet metal fabrication services provider headquartered in Seguin, Texas. The acquisition expands Cadrex's high-volume sheet metal capabilities and automation/robotics capacity, adding EPMP's ISO 9001-certified, 50,000+ sq. ft. facility to the Cadrex platform.
