Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) has acquired Johnson & Quin, a 150-year-old, family-owned direct mail production and marketing firm, combining complementary capabilities to form a larger national direct-marketing platform. The deal expands DMS's production capacity and Midwest footprint, preserves leadership continuity (Andrew Henkel becomes President of DMS; David Henkel joins the DMS board) and aims to deepen end-to-end, data-driven omnichannel direct marketing services.

Main Street Capital Corporation completed $15.8 million of follow-on investments across two existing portfolio companies: $9.5 million in Direct Marketing Solutions, Inc. to support DMS’s acquisition of a Freedom, Pennsylvania direct-mail production plant from Mailing Services of Pittsburgh, Inc., and $6.3 million in Nebraska Vet AcquireCo, LLC (dba Heritage Vet Partners) to support Heritage’s acquisitions of Ironsides Animal Health PLLC and St. Anna Veterinary Clinic, S.C. The investments were structured as additional first‑lien, senior secured term loans and build on Main Street’s prior financings in DMS (2018) and Heritage (December 2020).
