ELEVEN SPORTS has agreed to acquire New York-based sports media and entertainment company Team Whistle, expanding ELEVEN's operations into North America and strengthening its global content and distribution capabilities. The deal (subject to HSR approval) combines ELEVEN's streaming and live-sports assets with Team Whistle's social-first original content and creator network to accelerate growth and create a global sports media destination.

The deal strengthens One10’s behavioral science, data science and incentive technology capabilities and will keep Whistle employees in St. Louis under One10’s ownership (One10 is PE-backed by Bow River Capital).

Sprout Social Acquires NewsWhip for Up to $65 Million

Sprout Social has acquired NewsWhip for $55 million in cash with up to $10 million in potential earnouts (up to $65 million total) to deepen Sprout’s predictive media intelligence and listening capabilities. The deal closed July 30, 2025, and NewsWhip’s team — led by co-founder and CEO Paul Quigley — will join Sprout, with Quigley named General Manager of Sprout’s Listening business.
