DSP Group Acquires SoundChip SA

DSP Group acquired privately owned SoundChip SA to add active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, engineering services, and production test systems to its SmartVoice platform. The deal (approximately $14.5M upfront plus up to $6.0M in earnouts) aims to accelerate DSP Group's position in the fast-growing TWS/headset market by combining SoundChip's ANC expertise with DSP Group's low-power voice and mixed-signal solutions.
