Alteryx Acquires ClearStory Data

Alteryx, Inc. acquired ClearStory Data, a Menlo Park–based enterprise analytics software company, to integrate ClearStory’s scalable data profiling and Spark-based analytics capabilities and accelerate innovation across Alteryx’s data science and analytics platform. The acquisition brings ClearStory’s team and technology into Alteryx’s Silicon Valley technology center to expand capabilities for code-free and code-friendly analytics for enterprise customers.

The deal expands UL's renewables capabilities by adding Clear Sky's prescriptive solar-plant performance analytics to UL's advisory, testing, inspection and certification services. Terms were not disclosed and the transaction closed May 17, 2021.
