Addtronics, a Kaho Partners‑backed holding company focused on robotic automation solution providers, has acquired Bow Robotics, a West Chester, Ohio firm that provides spare parts, rebuild & repair services, and preventative maintenance for industrial robots. Bow's founder William "Bill" Bow will remain as President as the business becomes the third addition to the Addtronics platform, expanding the platform's aftermarket parts and services capabilities.

Addtronics, a consolidator of niche automation technology providers and a portfolio company of Kaho Partners, has acquired DAC International, a Carpinteria, California-based manufacturer of ultra‑precision equipment for contact lens and intraocular lens production. Route 2 Capital Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity investment to support the transaction, which strengthens Addtronics' medical device/ophthalmic automation capabilities.

Automated Industrial Robotics (AIR) Acquires KAON Automation

(AIR), a PE-backed industrial automation platform supported by Ares private equity funds, has acquired KAON Automation, an Ireland-based provider of bespoke automation systems for medical and life sciences manufacturers. The deal expands AIR’s capabilities in precision assembly, aseptic high-speed filling and end-of-line automation while strengthening its footprint in Ireland and the broader medical/life sciences end markets.
