Lakers Group Acquires Four Nordic Pump Service Companies

Lakers Group, the Nordic independent water pump service platform backed by Summa Equity, has completed four add-on acquisitions: Öhbergs Pumpservice (Sweden), Elmotorservice Syd (Sweden), A & J Pump Service (Finland) and Elmodan (Denmark). The acquisitions expand Lakers' presence across all Nordic markets, increase pro-forma revenues to NOK 350 million, and strengthen its wastewater, dewatering and pump service capabilities.

Lakers Group AB (publ) Acquires Norsk Pumpeservice AS

Lakers Group AB (publ) has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire Norsk Pumpeservice AS, a Norwegian aftermarket service and consumables provider for water and foundation drilling markets. The acquisition (expected to close in August) strengthens Lakers’ Norwegian platform and expands its product and service offering; the transaction was partly financed via a NOK 200 million tap of Lakers’ existing senior secured sustainability-linked bond.

Vestum Acquires Lakers from Summa Equity for ~SEK 2bn

Vestum AB (publ) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Lakers Group Holding AS from Summa Equity for approximately SEK 2 billion, with around SEK 250 million of the consideration to be reinvested into Vestum. Lakers is a leading independent aftermarket service provider of water and wastewater pumps headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with more than 400 employees and 25 entities across the Nordics, Germany and the UK; Summa Equity says the business expanded rapidly under its ownership.

Summa Defence Acquires Lännen MCE Oy

Finnish defence and security group Summa Defence Ltd has acquired Lännen MCE Oy (including its subsidiaries Lännen Tractors Oy, Aquamec Oy and Lännen MCE AB) through a share exchange agreement. The deal brings Lännen's multipurpose machinery and Watermaster capabilities into Summa Defence's portfolio to strengthen mobility and dual-use solutions for defence and civilian infrastructure; Lännen reported ~€50m revenue and ~150 employees for the year ending June 2023.

Summit Hydraulics (North Branch Capital) Acquires PowerX International

Summit Hydraulics, a portfolio company of North Branch Capital, has acquired PowerX International, a Waukesha, Wisconsin-based supplier of high-pressure hydraulic cylinders and pumps. The add-on transaction closed on May 1, 2024 and expands Summit's product offering and access to OEM and distributor end markets (construction, agriculture and other industrial equipment).

DXP Enterprises Acquires Pump Solutions

DXP Enterprises, Inc. has acquired Pump Solutions, a Texas-based distributor and service provider focused on water and wastewater pumps, controls, and related repair services. The deal, announced after a definitive agreement signed December 1, 2025, expands DXP's Water platform in Texas and adds technical sales and service capabilities to its national water and wastewater footprint.
