Liberty Tire Recycling Acquires Empire Tire of Edgewater and McGee Tire

Liberty Tire Recycling has acquired two Central Florida scrap-tire businesses — Empire Tire of Edgewater (Orlando) and McGee Tire (Apopka) — expanding its collection, grading, and hauling footprint in the growing Central Florida market. The acquisitions will allow Liberty to increase collections and processing capacity in the region while continuing Empire Tire & Wheel retail stores under their existing ownership; McGee Tire's founders (Jesse McGee and his brother) were noted in the announcement.
