Atlas Holdings Acquires Exide Americas Assets to Establish Stryten Manufacturing and Element Resources

Atlas Holdings completed a court-supervised Section 363 purchase of substantially all operating assets of the Americas business of Exide Technologies, LLC and launched two standalone companies — Stryten Manufacturing and Element Resources — to operate the acquired battery manufacturing and recycling businesses. Stryten Manufacturing (headquartered in Milton, Georgia) will operate multiple U.S. battery plants serving transportation, industrial and network-power markets, while Element Resources will own and operate lead-battery recycling facilities in Missouri and Indiana.

Lyten announced it has secured more than $200 million in additional equity (primarily from existing investors) and acquired the rights to Northvolt's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product portfolio, including Voltpack Mobile Systems (VMS) and Voltrack. Core members of Northvolt's energy storage engineering team will join Lyten in Stockholm, and Lyten plans to manufacture VMS and future BESS products in Gdansk, Poland with production targeted for Q4 2025.
