DCL Corporation Acquires Sun Chemical's Goose Creek Pigments Plant

DCL Corporation acquired Sun Chemical's performance pigments manufacturing facility in Goose Creek (Bushy Park), South Carolina, closing on July 31, 2021. The deal transfers production and sales of perylene and quinacridone pigment portfolios (and select specialty products) to DCL, adding high-performance pigments and a U.S. manufacturing base to DCL's global operations.

AGIC Capital and Kirk Kapital Acquire PR Electronics A/S

AGIC Capital, together with family-owned investor Kirk Kapital, has completed the acquisition of PR Electronics A/S, a Danish designer and manufacturer of signal conditioning devices for process and factory automation. The company — headquartered in Rønde, Denmark — will continue to be led by its executive management team while select members of management, including former CEO Kim Rasmussen, reinvest in the business as owners; the new owners plan to support further organic growth and pursue growth-through-acquisition opportunities.

Angeles Equity Partners Acquires APCT, Inc.

Angeles Equity Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has acquired APCT, Inc., a manufacturer of quick-turn printed circuit board (PCB) prototypes with domestic sites in Silicon Valley, Southern California and Connecticut. Angeles will partner with APCT management to accelerate profitable growth, pursue bolt-on acquisitions, expand global production capabilities, and drive systems integration; financial terms were not disclosed.

Angstrom Automotive Group Acquires General Aluminum Mfg. Company from Park-Ohio

Angstrom Automotive Group LLC acquired General Aluminum Mfg. Company (the Aluminum Products business) from Park-Ohio Holdings Corp., in a completed divestiture announced in early January 2024. Park-Ohio said the sale will help deleverage its balance sheet and reduce capital intensity while Angstrom expands its aluminum casting and machining footprint across U.S. and Mexico facilities.

Arotech's Advanced Electronics Division Acquires Advance Circuit Technology

The Arotech Corporation's Advanced Electronics Division (AED) has acquired Advance Circuit Technology (ACT), a privately held printed circuit board and microelectronic assemblies company based in Rochester, New York. The acquisition expands AED's electronics manufacturing service capabilities and operational capacity to support growing demand from defense, communications, and medical customers; Greenwich Capital Group (GCG) served as advisor to Arotech on the transaction.

Quantic Electronics Acquires Union Technology Corporation

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Union Technology Corporation (UTC), a maker of multilayer ceramic capacitors and assemblies. The deal adds UTC's MLCC product portfolio and high-reliability capacitor capabilities to Quantic's platform to better serve aerospace, military, telecommunications and industrial customers.
