XFS Global Acquires HeyTex USA (Bondcote Performance Textiles)

XFS Global, LLC has acquired HeyTex USA, Inc., which has been renamed Bondcote Performance Textiles, LLC. The Pulaski, Virginia-based manufacturer of coated and laminated performance fabrics (≈60 employees) will operate under XFS Global as part of a vertical-integration strategy to strengthen shelter solutions for military and commercial customers; the transaction was financed with assistance from Lake Country Capital (LC2).

Fortress Acquires Gyptech

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority stake in Gyptech, the Burlington, Ontario–headquartered designer and fabricator of gypsum wallboard and asphalt-shingle manufacturing equipment. The transaction (in which Gyptech management retains a minority stake) was announced as providing strategic support for global growth, scaling innovative technologies, and expanding aftermarket and energy‑reduction offerings; Wynnchurch Capital is the selling private equity sponsor. Moelis acted as Fortress's financial advisor and Evercore as placement agent on the financing.

Textiles Monterey Group Acquires Patrick Yarns (launches FilSpec USA)

Textiles Monterey Group has acquired the Patrick Yarns facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina (previously part of Coats Group) and will operate the site as FilSpec USA. The site will join FilSpec's existing Sherbrooke, Quebec operations to expand production capacity for technical specialty spun yarns across North America and Europe.

XFS Global Acquires Assets of Creative Tent International, LLC

XFS Global, LLC — a newly formed SDVOSB backed by Lake Country Capital — has acquired the assets of Creative Tent International, LLC and relocated the manufacturing operation from Las Vegas, Nevada to Natural Bridge Station, Virginia. The deal expands XFS Global's manufacturing footprint and capabilities (including RF welding, sewing/cutting, metal fabrication and kitting) and places Creative Tent's leadership team in charge of the new company.

GAF Acquires FT Synthetics

GAF, a Standard Industries company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire FT Synthetics, a British Columbia–based manufacturer of synthetic underlayments for the steep-slope roofing industry. FT Synthetics will operate as an independent business within the GAF portfolio, with CEO Gary Sandhar retaining a senior leadership role as GAF invests to scale operations and expand product offerings.

National Manufacturing Group Acquires Fiber-Tech Inc

National Manufacturing Group, a multi-plant OEM supplier, has acquired Fiber-Tech Inc, a custom molder of fiberglass composites. The deal expands National's FRP and fiberglass capabilities and adds Fiber-Tech's end-to-end composite molding, prototyping, tooling and production services to National's existing manufacturing footprint.
