Arsenal Capital Partners completed a majority investment in Polycorp Ltd., a Canadian manufacturer of engineered elastomer solutions. Terms were not disclosed; Polycorp (headquartered in Elora, Ontario) employs ~250 people and founder Peter Snucins will remain an investor and board member as the company pursues manufacturing, R&D and strategic growth initiatives.

Bertram Capital Acquires BCI Burke from The Halifax Group

Bertram Capital has acquired BCI Burke, a Fond du Lac, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of commercial playground and outdoor recreation equipment. Terms were not disclosed; Bertram said it will treat Burke as a new industrial platform and pursue buy-and-build growth, geographic expansion and new product introductions. The Halifax Group sold Burke and management, including CEO Mike Phelan, will remain in place.

Milburn Flooring Acquires Blendex Industrial Corp.

Milburn Flooring, a Copiague, New York-based commercial flooring contractor, has acquired Blendex Industrial Corp. of Lindenhurst, New York, adding Blendex's epoxy and industrial resin flooring capabilities as the new “Blendex by Milburn Flooring” division. The deal expands Milburn’s service offerings and installation capabilities across the New York metropolitan and broader tri-state markets.

Polycorp Acquires Iron Horse Engineering Company

International Paper Acquires Berkley Molded Fiber Division

The International Paper Company has acquired Berkley International's Molded Fiber manufacturing division, Berkley MF LLC, from Berkley International. The deal transfers an 80,400 sq. ft. molded fiber plant (located outside Reno, Nevada) and capabilities for sustainable molded-pulp packaging to International Paper; the purchase price was not disclosed.

Linamar Corporation Acquires Bourgault Industries Ltd.

Linamar Corporation has completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity interests of Bourgault Industries Ltd., including its seeder operations in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan and the Highline Manufacturing and Free Form Plastics divisions. Bourgault will be integrated into Linamar's new Agriculture division alongside MacDon and Salford, expanding Linamar's industrial product portfolio and capabilities in broad-acre seeding.
