Soler & Palau Acquires United Enertech from DalFort Capital Partners

Soler & Palau Ventilation, Inc. (S&P USA) has acquired certain operating companies of United Enertech (including Air Conditioning Products, Air Performance, Metal Form Manufacturing and United Enertech Corp.) from DalFort Capital Partners. The acquisition expands S&P’s ventilation and HVAC components portfolio and adds manufacturing locations in Michigan, Arizona, Alabama and Tennessee; terms were not disclosed.

TransTech (Bridge Industries) Acquires Metalforms Ltd.

Bridge Industries LLC, through its TransTech portfolio company and a newly formed subsidiary Metalforms LLC, has acquired Metalforms Ltd., a Beaumont, Texas-based designer and fabricator of TEMA heat exchangers and ASME pressure vessels. The deal expands TransTech's fabrication capacity and Gulf Coast footprint, adding 140,000 ft² of facility space and 14 acres of on-site storage to the platform.

The deal transfers global rights to legacy heat-exchanger technologies (including BROWN FINTUBE and TWISTED TUBE) to Metalforms and supports a relaunch of channel partners and a new European entity, Metalforms Italia Srl, based in Crema, Italy.

MFG Partners and Merit Capital Partners Acquire Elgen Manufacturing Company

MFG Partners and Merit Capital Partners, alongside Elgen's management team, have acquired Elgen Manufacturing Company, a Closter, New Jersey-based maker of ductwork accessory products for the HVAC industry. Merit provided subordinated debt and equity as part of the Fund VI platform investment (Elgen is Merit’s 13th platform), and the buyers plan to support product-line and geographic growth initiatives.
