Trive Capital and Coltala Holdings Invest in Choice Health at Home

Dallas-based private equity firm Trive Capital, in partnership with DFW-based Coltala Holdings, has made a growth investment in Choice Health at Home, a Tyler, Texas-based geriatric post-acute home health and hospice provider. The capital package — including senior debt, subordinated debt and preferred equity — is intended to accelerate Choice's geographic expansion and add-on acquisition strategy across multiple Southwestern states.

Choice Health at Home (Choice), a Texas-based provider of home health, hospice, private duty, and rehabilitation services, has acquired the Texas assets of Abiding Home Health, expanding Choice's presence along the I-35 corridor between Dallas and San Antonio. The deal strengthens Choice's home health service footprint in Central Texas and is an add-on to its PE-backed platform (partnered with Trive Capital and Coltala Holdings) to support further regional expansion.

The deal strengthens Choice’s local operations and leadership bench, with Alpha’s CEO Carl Ganter joining Choice as Vice President of Business Operations.
