PG Dental Holdings Merges with Allied Dental Holdings

PG Dental Holdings, backed by TriSpan, has completed a merger with Allied Dental Holdings to create the largest dental service organization (DSO) footprint in New Jersey and expand presence in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Pro forma the transaction, the combined organization will manage 79 multi-specialty practices employing over 200 dentists and more than 130 corporate staff.

National Dentex Labs Acquires Dynamic Dental Solutions

National Dentex Labs (NDX) acquired Dynamic Dental Solutions, a Jacksonville-based dental laboratory specializing in implant restorations and full-arch prosthetics. The acquisition expands NDX's footprint in Florida and the southeastern United States; Dynamic Dental Solutions will continue to operate under its current name and join NDX's network to combine capabilities and digital technologies. Terms were not disclosed.

Dental Care Alliance Adds Modern Dental Care in Wisconsin

Heartland Dental Acquires American Dental Partners (ADPI)

Heartland Dental, the Effingham, Illinois-based dental support organization majority owned by KKR, signed an agreement to acquire American Dental Partners (ADPI), a Wakefield, Massachusetts–based DSO that supports 23 dental group practices and roughly 278 locations. ADPI, a portfolio company of JLL Partners, will join Heartland’s network (creating a combined footprint of over 2,300 supported dentists and more than 1,400 locations); the deal is structured as an add-on to Heartland’s KKR-backed platform and is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary conditions.

RoundTable Healthcare Partners Acquires DDS Lab

RoundTable Healthcare Partners has acquired DDS Lab, a Tampa-based national dental laboratory that provides fixed crown and bridge, removable, implant and orthodontic products to over 11,000 dentists across the U.S. The deal — sold by prior investors Blue Sea Capital and CITIC Capital Partners — will serve as a platform investment for RoundTable to expand capabilities and investments in digital manufacturing and customer service; financial terms were not disclosed.
