Ingersoll Rand Acquires Air Dimensions Inc.

Ingersoll Rand Inc. agreed to acquire Air Dimensions Inc. for $70.5 million in an all-cash transaction that closed Oct. 29, 2021, adding the vacuum diaphragm pump maker to its Precision and Science Technologies segment. Air Dimensions, a family‑owned manufacturer based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, supplies pumps for emission monitoring, biogas, utility and chemical processes; owners Greg and David English plan to retire after a transition period.

Ingersoll Rand Inc. acquired Termomeccanica Industrial Compressors S.p.A. (TMIC) and its subsidiary Adicomp S.p.A. for approximately €160 million. The businesses — Italy-based designers and manufacturers of air and gas compressors and engineered-to-order RNG solutions — will join Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies and Services segment to expand capabilities in renewable natural gas and other high-growth end markets.

Ingersoll Rand Acquires Dosatron International

Ingersoll Rand Inc. has acquired Dosatron International L.L.C. and Dilution Solutions L.L.C. for an all-cash upfront purchase price of approximately $90 million plus up to $15 million in potential future consideration. The Clearwater, Florida–based dosing pump and fluid-dosing systems business (about 45 employees) will join Ingersoll Rand's Precision and Science Technologies segment, expanding the company's digital and IIoT-enabled capabilities into controlled environment agriculture, hydroponics, horticulture, animal health, food safety and water treatment.

Filtration Group (Madison Industries) Acquires Flow Dry Technology

Filtration Group, a Madison Industries company, acquired Flow Dry Technology, a designer and manufacturer of desiccant bags, value-added assemblies, and moisture-protection solutions. The acquisition marks an exit for Argosy Private Equity, which had owned Flow Dry since 2014; Flow Dry is headquartered in Brookville, Ohio with additional manufacturing facilities in China and Hungary.
