Audax Private Equity Acquires EIS, Inc.

Audax Private Equity has completed its acquisition of EIS, Inc., a distributor, fabricator, and converter of electrical process materials, wire, cable and assemblies headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Audax said it will support EIS’s growth through organic initiatives and a buy-and-build strategy, leveraging EIS’s 38 branches, four fabrication facilities, and broad North American customer base.

EIS Acquires Gerome Technologies, Inc.

EIS, a North American specialty distributor of electrical and electronic process materials, has acquired Gerome Technologies, a supplier and fabricator of molded and composite insulation products serving the power generation and electrical industries. The acquisition expands EIS' flexible and rigid insulation portfolio and fabrication capabilities to better serve OEM and aftermarket customers in the power generation market.

Power Grid Components Acquires Elliott Industries

The acquisition is an add-on to PGC's power distribution portfolio and will preserve the Elliott brand while leveraging PGC's resources to drive growth and product innovation.

Apollo Acquires PowerGrid Services from The Sterling Group

Power Grid Components Acquires Meister International

The add-on transaction expands Power Grid’s distribution of high- and medium-voltage insulators, bushings and related utility hardware and broadens its national product and customer reach; terms were not disclosed.
