Kontron America, Inc., a unit of Kontron AG, agreed to acquire Bsquare Corporation in an all-cash tender offer at $1.90 per share, implying an equity value of approximately $38 million. The acquisition aims to strengthen Kontron’s software development, marketing and integration capabilities in North America and to combine Bsquare’s IoT software (SquareOne) with Kontron’s hardware and susietec software family.
