DelCam Capital Acquires Space Age Electronics, Inc.

DelCam Capital, a Massachusetts private equity firm, has acquired Space Age Electronics, Inc., a Sterling, Massachusetts-based manufacturer of fire and life safety equipment. The deal is the first platform acquisition for DelCam Fund II; Space Age's approximately 80 employees across three facilities will remain and participate in an employee ownership initiative, and COO Matt Grady will assume leadership.

EMCOR Group Acquires Gaston Electrical Co., LLC

EMCOR Group, Inc. has acquired Gaston Electrical Co., LLC, a full-service electrical construction and low-voltage contractor headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts. The acquisition (terms not disclosed) expands EMCOR's specialty electrical construction capabilities and footprint in the Greater Boston / Northeast markets; Gaston reported estimated 2022 revenues of about $140 million and remaining unsatisfied performance obligations of roughly $120 million.

Nexus Capital and HDT Global Acquire Aviation Ground Equipment Corp.

Nexus Capital Management LP and HDT Global have acquired Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. (AGEC), a veteran-owned manufacturer and distributor of aviation ground support equipment. The deal was structured as a new entity within the HDT portfolio to expand HDT's aircraft ground power and thermal management capabilities for military and commercial aviation programs, including support for F-35 and B-21 programs.

ConTeras Industrial Group Acquires Gastonia Pipe and Anchor Scaffolding

DelCam Holdings Acquires PlasTech Machining & Fabrication

DelCam Holdings (operating as DelCam Manufacturing) acquired PlasTech Machining & Fabrication from founders Lou and Claire Ferriero, with the transaction closing on November 6 (terms were not disclosed). The buyer has kept the Bow, New Hampshire facility and invested in equipment and staffing to grow the precision plastics machining business, which supplies medical device, semiconductor, marine and electronics customers.

GSCM Group (Groupe Solfab Constructions Modulaires), supported by private equity firm Equistone Partners Europe, has acquired Deltamod, a French specialist in the reconditioning and reuse of modular buildings. Deltamod — founded in 2013, based in Nort-sur-Erdre and employing ~30 people with ~€8M revenue (FY21/22) — will remain supported by its founders and expand within GSCM's national modular-building platform to strengthen sustainable, circular-economy offerings.
