Bird Construction Acquires Jacob Bros Construction for $135 Million

Bird Construction Inc. (TSX: BDT) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Surrey, British Columbia–based Jacob Bros Construction for an estimated aggregate consideration of $135 million, comprising cash, shares and assumed equipment debt. The acquisition establishes Bird in BC's civil infrastructure market, adds self-perform capability and scale (Jacob Bros: ~350+ employees, ~$300M revenue) and is expected to be approximately 10% accretive to Bird's full-year adjusted EPS.

Israir Subsidiary Acquires Additional Stakes in Bird Aviation

Tel Aviv-based Israir (through its subsidiary Israir Aviation and Tourism) agreed to buy a 25% stake in Cyprus-based MRO provider Bird Aviation from Bird Aerosystems for €2.75 million, and plans to acquire a further 12.5% for ~€1.375 million with a put option to purchase the remaining 12.5% two years after. The staged transaction increases Israir's ownership of the Larnaca-headquartered maintenance specialist and is intended to support fleet development plans, finance capacity and expanded MRO capabilities at Bird Aviation's Larnaca base.

Parsons Corporation agreed to acquire BCC Engineering, a Trivest Partners portfolio company, in an all-cash transaction valued at $230 million (net transaction value $221 million, ~13.0x 2025e EBITDA). The acquisition expands Parsons' infrastructure and transportation engineering presence in the Southeastern United States — BCC will join Parsons' North America Infrastructure business unit and is expected to generate about $110 million revenue in 2025.
