Landscape Workshop Acquires Brummel Lawn & Landscape LLC

Landscape Workshop, a Birmingham-based commercial grounds management platform backed by Ares Management, has acquired Brummel Lawn & Landscape LLC to establish a presence in the Kansas City, Missouri market. Brummel's founder Nick Brummel joins Landscape Workshop in a senior role and all Brummel employees will transition to Landscape Workshop as part of the add-on deal.

Ares Management Acquires Majority Stake in Landscape Workshop

Ares Private Equity (part of Ares Management Corporation) has acquired a majority stake in Landscape Workshop, a Birmingham, Alabama–based commercial landscaping and grounds management provider. Carousel Capital, which invested in Landscape Workshop in 2020, sold a majority position but will retain a significant stake; Ares intends to provide capital to expand the company’s regional footprint and scale through strategic acquisitions.

Birmingham-based Landscape Workshop, backed by Ares Management Corporation, has acquired Luigi's Landscaping Co., Inc., adding a Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) facility and team to expand its South Florida commercial landscape maintenance footprint. Luigi founder Ralph Marano has joined Landscape Workshop in an ambassador role and all Luigi employees became part of Landscape Workshop.
