Landscape Workshop, a commercial landscape maintenance platform backed by Ares Management Corporation, has acquired LIG Services, LLC to expand its Gulf Coast footprint. The deal brings LIG owners Mike Sharp and Judson "Bragg" Jordan and their team into Landscape Workshop as senior leaders and employees, strengthening LW's presence in Lower Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

Ares Management Acquires Majority Stake in Landscape Workshop

Ares Private Equity (part of Ares Management Corporation) has acquired a majority stake in Landscape Workshop, a Birmingham, Alabama–based commercial landscaping and grounds management provider. Carousel Capital, which invested in Landscape Workshop in 2020, sold a majority position but will retain a significant stake; Ares intends to provide capital to expand the company’s regional footprint and scale through strategic acquisitions.

Luigi founder Ralph Marano has joined Landscape Workshop in an ambassador role and all Luigi employees became part of Landscape Workshop.
