CX1 Capital Inc., a Toronto-based private equity sponsor, has completed the acquisition of Fort Myers, Florida-based SatCom Marketing (doing business as SatComCX). CX1 founder Sajan Choksi was named CEO of SatComCX and the deal is described as the first step in a buy-and-build expansion plan to modernize systems, grow the company's footprint, and create new employee opportunities.

Satellogic Inc. completed a business combination with CF Acquisition Corp. V (CFV), and its Class A ordinary shares and warrants began trading on Nasdaq on January 26, 2022 under the tickers SATL and SATLW. The transaction provides Satellogic approximately $262 million in gross proceeds—including a $100 million PIPE led by SoftBank's SBLA Advisers and Cantor Fitzgerald and a $150 million private placement commitment from Liberty Strategic Capital—to scale its satellite constellation and expand its high-resolution Earth-observation and analytics capabilities.

Amphenol Corporation Acquires Trexon from Audax Private Equity

Amphenol Corporation has completed its acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for approximately $1 billion in cash. Trexon, a Boston-headquartered maker of high-reliability cable and interconnect assemblies for defense and harsh environments, will be included in Amphenol's Harsh Environment Solutions segment and is expected to be accretive to earnings.
