Arlington Capital Forms Kinetic Engine Systems via Acquisitions of Walbar, Numet and AeroCision

Arlington Capital Partners formed a new platform, Kinetic Engine Systems, by combining the engine assets of its portfolio company Cadence Aerospace with the newly completed acquisitions of Walbar Engine Components, Numet Machining Techniques and AeroCision. The platform will manufacture precision aero-engine components across six centers of excellence located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Arizona and Mexico to serve OEMs and aftermarket customers in commercial and defense aerospace.

Expromet Technologies Group Acquires Metaltech Precision Ltd

Expromet Technologies Group, a privately owned UK precision casting and machining group, has acquired Metaltech Precision Ltd, a precision components manufacturer based in Chard, Somerset. Metaltech, founded in 1973 and employing about 70 people, expands Expromet's machining and fabrication capabilities across markets including aerospace, defence, energy, rail and marine.

Cadence Aerospace (Arlington Capital) Acquires B&E OEM Manufacturing Division

Cadence Aerospace, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, has acquired the OEM Manufacturing Division of B&E Group, adding two Massachusetts facilities (Southwick and Westfield) that specialize in complex, difficult-to-machine engine components for aerospace and defense customers. The deal expands Cadence's engine-component capabilities and creates scale across its Tell Tool and ADM operations as an add-on to the Cadence platform.

BERKS Group Invests in Natoma Manufacturing LLC

Newbury Franklin Industrials Acquires Metaltech Service Center, Inc.

Newbury Franklin Industrials (NFI), a value-added supplier of consumable industrial components, has acquired Metaltech Service Center, Inc., a hybrid steel service center and value-add processor headquartered in Houston. Metaltech CEO Brad Koenig will remain as CEO to execute growth plans while NFI (a platform backed by Ironwood Capital) intends to leverage its broader product portfolio and distribution capabilities to cross-sell and expand Metaltech's sales pipeline.

Hummock Industries Acquires National Bronze Manufacturing

Hummock Industries (Reading, Pennsylvania) has acquired Roseville, Michigan-based National Bronze Manufacturing, a producer and distributor of precision machined bronze bearings, bushings, wear plates and copper alloy bar and tube. Hummock said the purchase complements its subsidiary Heyco Metals, diversifies revenue streams and provides a platform to grow downstream into value-added engineered products.
