Marlin Equity Partners announced the acquisition of Switzerland-based People-Analytix AG, an AI-driven employee skills management platform, which will be merged into Learning Pool, a Marlin portfolio company. The deal adds People-Analytix's multilingual skills ontology and AI capabilities to Learning Pool's eLearning and talent development offerings to better identify skills gaps and match employees to jobs, projects and learning.

Marlin Equity Partners Completes Majority Growth Investment in Learning Pool

Marlin Equity Partners has agreed to a majority growth investment in Learning Pool, acquiring the shareholding of Carlyle Cardinal Ireland to support the eLearning provider's continued organic and inorganic growth. The investment will back product and geographic expansion, additional acquisitions and hiring (Learning Pool currently has ~260 employees and plans to add 100 more), while Learning Pool's management has reinvested alongside the transaction.

Ceridian Acquires eloomi to Expand Dayforce Learning Capabilities

Ceridian has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire eloomi, a Copenhagen- and Orlando-based learning experience platform, with the deal expected to close in Q1 2024 and funded from Ceridian’s existing cash balance. The acquisition will integrate eloomi’s LMS/LXP and AI-driven content capabilities into Ceridian’s Dayforce platform to expand learning, people development and extended-enterprise training offerings; eloomi was backed by the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), Kennet Partners and Great Hill Partners.
