Ideanomics (NASDAQ: IDEX) completed its acquisition of US Hybrid, a Torrance, California-based designer and manufacturer of zero-emission electric powertrain components and fuel cell engines for medium- and heavy-duty commercial and municipal vehicles. The deal gives Ideanomics direct manufacturing capabilities in traction motors, controllers, energy storage and fuel-cell systems and supports commercialization opportunities (including a multi-city electric street sweeper order announced alongside the acquisition).

Ideanomics has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Wireless Advanced Vehicle Electrification, Inc. (WAVE) for cash and stock consideration. WAVE, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a provider of inductive wireless charging systems for medium- and heavy-duty commercial EVs with reported unaudited 2020 revenues of about $7M.

Vontier Acquires Driivz to Accelerate E-Mobility Strategy

Vontier Corporation has acquired Driivz, an end-to-end EV charging and smart energy management software platform, making Driivz a wholly owned independent subsidiary. The deal expands Vontier's e-mobility and software capabilities, enabling the company to offer hardware-agnostic network management and energy optimization solutions to utilities, automakers, fleets and other EV charging service providers.

The deal brings Voyage's ~60-person team and its experience operating autonomous shuttles in retirement communities into Cruise to bolster its technical capabilities and customer-focused product execution.

Driverge Vehicle Innovations Acquires NorCal Van Conversions

Driverge Vehicle Innovations, a U.S. vehicle upfitter based in Richfield, Ohio, has acquired California-based NorCal Van Conversions to add West Coast manufacturing and distribution capabilities. NorCal owners Todd and Laurie LaPant will remain with the business as part of Driverge's leadership team, and the deal expands Driverge's product offerings and geographic footprint to better serve healthcare, fleet and vocational markets on the West Coast.
