Arrivia Acquires Bon Voyage Travel

Arrivia, a global travel loyalty and technology company, has acquired Bon Voyage Travel, a luxury-focused, advisor-led travel agency. The deal preserves Bon Voyage Travel's brand and leadership (President Ryan Hansen remains in place; founder Peter Evans will serve in an advisory role) and is intended to strengthen Arrivia's presence in the premium and luxury cruise market; financial terms were not disclosed.

General Motors Acquires Full Ownership of Cruise

General Motors has completed its previously announced acquisition of GM Cruise Holdings LLC, making Cruise a wholly owned GM subsidiary after approval of GM's merger offer by the Cruise board. GM will integrate Cruise's autonomous-vehicle and ADAS technology into its Super Cruise platform and focus on accelerating development of driving assistance and personal autonomous vehicle capabilities.

MongoDB Acquires Voyage AI

MongoDB, Inc. has acquired Voyage AI, a developer of advanced embedding and reranking models, to integrate high-quality retrieval capabilities into MongoDB's data platform and help customers build more trustworthy AI applications. The deal (reported at approximately $220 million) brings Voyage AI's models and team into MongoDB to improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations for mission-critical AI use cases.

Autonomy Acquires EV Mobility's Technology, Assets and Customer Accounts

Autonomy, an electric vehicle subscription company based in Santa Monica, has agreed to acquire the technology, assets and customer accounts of EV Mobility, an all-electric car-sharing platform that provides EVs as an amenity to hotels and multi-family properties. The deal (cash and stock, terms undisclosed) is intended to accelerate Autonomy's entry into car-sharing, expand its product offering, and scale usage through EV Mobility's existing hospitality and property partnerships; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023.

Inszone Insurance Services Acquires Voyage Benefits, LLC

Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Voyage Benefits, LLC, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based health and life insurance agency led by Kelly Syren. The acquisition expands Inszone's benefits capabilities and presence in Michigan while Voyage Benefits will continue operating from its Grand Rapids location with access to Inszone's carrier relationships and resources.

Amazon Acquires Zoox

Amazon has signed an agreement to acquire Zoox, a California-based developer of purpose-built autonomous ride-hailing vehicles and end-to-end autonomy software. Zoox will remain a standalone business led by CEO Aicha Evans and CTO Jesse Levinson as Amazon aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of safe, zero-emissions autonomous mobility.
