Cruise Acquires Voyage

Cruise has acquired self-driving startup Voyage and will integrate Voyage's team, technology and operations to accelerate commercial deployment of autonomous, all‑electric robotaxi services. The deal brings Voyage's ~60-person team and its experience operating autonomous shuttles in retirement communities into Cruise to bolster its technical capabilities and customer-focused product execution.

Elastic Acquires Jina AI

Elastic has completed the acquisition of Jina AI, a developer of open-source multimodal and multilingual embeddings, rerankers, and small language models. The deal strengthens Elastic's capabilities in vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and context engineering, and brings Jina's models and research into Elastic's Search AI Platform and Elastic Inference Service on Elastic Cloud.

SpaceX Acquires xAI
