Acronis has acquired 5nine, a provider of virtualization security and Microsoft Cloud management software, making 5nine a wholly‑owned subsidiary and integrating its technology into the Acronis Cyber Platform. The deal (terms not disclosed) was advised by Auctus Capital Partners and involves 5nine, an Insight Venture Partners portfolio company, joining Acronis to accelerate product innovation and expand channel distribution.
