Calero Software and MDSL completed a merger to form Calero‑MDSL in a transaction led by Oak Hill Capital and Riverside Partners, with Sumeru Equity Partners remaining a significant investor. The combined company — headquartered in Phoenix with a large operations center in Rochester, NY — will operate under the Calero‑MDSL name, employ over 800 people and serve more than 3,500 customers across TEM and MDM markets.

Calero-MDSL Acquires MetaPort

The acquisition adds network inventory visualization and mapping capabilities to Calero-MDSL's Technology Expense Management (TEM) platform, enabling improved network visibility, quicker onboarding and potential cost savings for enterprise customers.

Valeo Networks Acquires Network Management Services (NMS)

Valeo Networks, the Managed Security Service Provider division of Saalex Corporation, acquired Eureka, California-based Network Management Services (NMS). The deal — terms not disclosed — expands Valeo Networks' MSSP footprint in the Western U.S., adds over a dozen experienced technicians to the organization, and preserves NMS as a DBA operating from its Eureka headquarters while enhancing cybersecurity, cloud and network security capabilities.

Johnson Controls Acquires Tempered Networks

Johnson Controls acquired Seattle-based Tempered Networks to integrate its Airwall zero-trust cybersecurity platform into Johnson Controls’ OpenBlue smart‑buildings stack. The deal strengthens Johnson Controls’ ability to provide end‑to‑end zero trust security for connected building systems and to embed Tempered’s technology across its products and services; financial terms were not disclosed.

MasterControl Acquires Qualer

The deal integrates Qualer’s asset management capabilities into MasterControl’s QMS and MES platform to offer unified quality, manufacturing, and asset performance management for regulated life sciences customers.

NetNordic Group Acquires Bolero AB

NetNordic Group, majority owned by Norvestor, has acquired Bolero AB, a Swedish provider of cloud, cybersecurity, analytics, network and data centre services. The add-on deal expands NetNordic's competence and capacity in Sweden; Bolero (80 employees, SEK 270 million revenue last fiscal year) will have its management shareholders reinvesting and continue to operate within the NetNordic platform.
