Sparus Holdings, a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners, has acquired United Locating Services (ULS), a utility locating and damage prevention services provider with operations across the Midwest and Southwest. ULS's leadership team will remain in place to run the business within the Sparus platform; terms were not disclosed.

Zscaler Acquires SPLX to Expand AI Security Capabilities

Zscaler, Inc. has acquired AI security pioneer SPLX to extend the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange with AI asset discovery, automated red teaming, runtime guardrails, and governance across the AI lifecycle. The deal integrates SPLX's technology for discovery, risk assessment and remediation into Zscaler's cloud security platform to help enterprises secure models, agent workflows, and RAG pipelines from development through deployment.

UAS Drone Corp. Acquires Duke Robotics, Inc.

UAS Drone Corp. (OTC: USDR) completed its acquisition of Duke Robotics, Inc., with Duke Robotics becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary after a share exchange that issued Duke shareholders stock representing 71% of the post-transaction capitalization. The combined company will focus on Duke Robotics' military UAS technology (TIKAD) and Duke's management and board now hold key leadership positions in the combined business.

SPX Technologies Acquires Thermolec

SPX Technologies has completed the acquisition of Montréal-based Thermolec Ltd. for CA$195 million (approximately US$140 million). Thermolec, a manufacturer of custom electric duct heating and related HVAC solutions with nearly 200 employees and about US$35 million in annual revenue, will join SPX's HVAC Electric Heat business to expand product capabilities and grow sales in the U.S. and Canada.

SPX Corporation Acquires International Tower Lighting, LLC

SPX Corporation has completed the acquisition of International Tower Lighting, LLC (ITL), a La Vergne, Tennessee–based designer and manufacturer of obstruction lighting systems and tower monitoring services. ITL (approximately $18 million revenue) will be reported as part of SPX's AtoN platform within its Detection & Measurement segment and is expected to modestly accrete segment margin.

PCE Automation Acquires Olmec-UK

PCE Automation Ltd has acquired Olmec-UK, a north Lincolnshire-based vision inspection and web conversion provider. The deal, finalised in November 2024 after an 18-month process, expands PCE's life-science automation capabilities and is expected to boost sales orders by around 25%.
