Horton, Inc. acquired the homebuilding operations of Braselton Homes in Corpus Christi, Texas, purchasing lots, homes-in-inventory and an active sales backlog for approximately $23 million in cash. The transaction includes ~95 lots, 90 homes in inventory, 125 homes in sales backlog and control of ~840 lots via purchase contracts; Braselton will operate as a separate division within D.R. Horton as the buyer expands its Texas footprint.
