Barbarian, a New York–based digital experience agency in the Cheil Worldwide Network, has acquired g-Innovations, a digital transformation and Adobe Experience Manager specialist headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, with an offshore presence in Hyderabad, India. The deal brings approximately 90 employees and key clients (including Samsung and large healthcare and financial services firms) into Barbarian and integrates g-Innovations' AEM, AWS and front-end development capabilities into Barbarian's creative and strategic offerings.

Nava Acquires Beam to Expand Open, End-to-End Benefits Delivery Stack

Nava Public Benefit Corporation has acquired Beam, a cloud-based SaaS platform that supports safety-net, emergency aid, and cash assistance programs, and will integrate Beam into Nava's open-source Strata suite. The acquisition broadens Nava's end-to-end benefits delivery capabilities — Beam has disbursed more than $400 million to over 300,000 recipients across 39 states — and brings Beam's team and technology into Nava to accelerate modern, open government benefits delivery.

Domestic & General Group (D&G), the UK appliance breakdown protection provider owned by CVC, has acquired Nana Technologies, an enterprise gateway marketplace and field-management software provider focused on appliance repair. The deal strengthens D&G's US proposition and accelerates the Group's expansion into the US warranty market by combining D&G's warranty capabilities with Nana's technician marketplace and training capabilities.
