Atlas Holdings Acquires Quesnel River and Slave Lake Pulp Mills from West Fraser

Atlas Holdings has agreed to acquire West Fraser’s Quesnel River Pulp mill (Quesnel, British Columbia) and Slave Lake Pulp mill (Slave Lake, Alberta) and related woodlands and timber holdings, with operations to be run by Millar Western. The deal includes a long-term fibre supply agreement for Quesnel River and combined cash proceeds of US$120 million; closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
