The Ensign Group acquired the operations of South Davis Specialty Care (a 95‑bed skilled nursing facility) and Western Peaks Specialty Hospital (a 43‑bed LTACH) in Bountiful, Utah, effective May 1, 2024. In separate same‑day transactions, Ensign and its affiliates also acquired six additional post‑acute and senior living operations across Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, Tennessee and Texas; real estate assets for some facilities were purchased by Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc., Ensign’s captive REIT.
